All the houses in Careyes have spectacular views, but not all of them have history and soul. And as Gian Franco Brignone´s first house when he arrived from Italy in 1968, “Mi Ojo” is the eye that he had physically lost but had gained in his soul. “One eye to see and one eye to feel” he used to say. 

Designed by Gian Franco himself and architect Marco Aldaco, this castle by the sea is built in an colossal cliff overlooking the Mexican Pacific Ocean, above the picturesque Playa Rosa beach. 

Seven luxurious bedrooms, all with open windows and terraces that invite the blue skies inside. 

History at its best, it is here that Gian Franco dreamed and conceived Careyes, toasted to the pink and red sunsets -tequila in hand- and hosted the most amazing parties. 

It is called “Mi Ojo” but is truly Careyes´s heart and soul.
